Christina Truong, Web Developer + Educator
With a decade of experience, Christina has worked at top digital agencies such as Teehan+Lax and Razorfish (formerly Nurun) and has worked on projects for brands such as Holt Renfrew, Home Depot, Globe & Mail and Bell. At software company, Field ID, she headed up the front-end development and overhauled the in-house web app’s front-end architecture.
Christina has also taught more than 900+ students at Humber College, HackerYou, Ladies Learning Code, private and public workshops and corporate trainings. As the former Director of Curriculum for Ladies Learning Code, she developed and managed the course content for all the adult programs and provided instructor training for all Canadian chapters, focusing on techniques for creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
These days, she is working independently to offer technical consulting services for developers as well as tech companies to help support their development teams.
She also writes and speaks about code, technology and diversity and teaches BODYPUMP, a full body weight training class.
